Pocono Airlines was founded by Walter Hoffman and began operations in July 1962. The airline became an Allegheny
Commuter carrier in 1968 but ended that affiliation on July 1, 1988, when it filed for bankruptcy. Operations resumed in
March 1989 as a TW Express carrier. Operations were again ended on January 5, 1990.
